Vedas are illuminated knowledge which has been passed to us by the higher conscious beings (Gods) through the medium of sound. They have been carried on unbroken for many thousands of generations. The benefits of repeating these mantras with their pure sound intonations undisturbed had beneficiary effects both on the person who chants it and in the society as a whole.

Children are encouraged to participate in competitions and the prizes are won by them.

·         A full time vedic Scholar has been appointed on monthly salary basis to teach vedam to all students and manage day-to-day activities of residential students.

The great learned enlightened yogi Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Shri Chndrashekarendra Saraswathi (known as Maha Periayava) has repeatedly emphasized the need to safeguard the vedic treasure at all costs as he had realized the greatness and importance of vedic chants to all the living entities present around us.

Over the years the children have been taken out to beaches, science exhibitions, libraries, temples etc. to enlarge their world view.

The vibrations of these vedic chants effect the cerebral cortical layer three which transmits and connects us to the omnipresent and increases the perceptions of universe and helps us to realize the Truth of our existence.

The Krishna Yajur ved mainly consists of Tatriya shaka as it is presently taught.
  • This in turn consists of Samhitas - The basic text - this consist of seven books/kandas.
  • After Samhitas comes the Brahmanas that elaborate the samhitas and explain the ritual contained in that. The Brahmanas consist of three kandas.
  • Then comes the Aranyakas - this consists of seven prashnas/valli.

Vedic chanting requires highest degree of concentration. Caution should be observed for correct memorization and correct reproduction of each word, since an incorrect pronunciation
